Recently I've used some nitrile gloves 🧤 while fishin and like them. I know that Mr dingleberry had a deep cut on his hand and used the nitrile gloves to keep it from getting wet/dirty. I just recently filleted my thumb and used the gloves as well for a fe fishon trips.

I bought a box of PITBOSS nitrile gloves for $10. 15 pairs. I really don't mind the money part as I treat stuff like this ... It's better then buying that pack of cigarettes 🚬. (I quit smoking 🚭 going on 4 years ago) And this is how I justify some things when buying them.

Anyway. I have some blue (thinner) gloves that aren't bad but tear easily. The PITBOSS gloves feel durable and are definitely more gripey. The last 2 steelhead seasons I trashed my Simms waders with wiping my hands on them and actually bought a new Simms wader at the turn of this year. I use a lot of egg sacs during Steelhead time and also a lot of live bait throughout the year. I'm hoping that with the gloves I can curve some of my messy habits.

I'll give them a try as I bought 2 boxes.

🧤 Does anyone use nitrile?
🧤 Do you like ?
🧤 If so ... What brand ... Etc.

Garage, paint, clean-up use here. But the 9mil Hardy brand at Harbor Freight are decent. No grippy things. They go on sale 50% off every few weeks. Plus they have XX-Large. Buy two or three of the 50 packs when on sale. When ya catch the half off sale, the work gloves are also a good deal at $3.25 pair. Not sure about use in the water, but they hold up well in the shop.

I use the dirt cheapest ones, they honestly keep my fingers from freezing in the winter fishing, while still feeling like I'm bare fingered to control line.

Like the 4-8 buck ones for 100 you can get at Amazon.

Older guy put me on them for Steelhead fishing in 25-35 degree weather. He's like they'll keep your fingers warmer. I thought he was crazy, but 4 years later I'm still rocking them out on those really cold and windy mornings, when the line guides are freezing.

Basically one Steelhead and the fingers ripped but if I land a fish I'm usually warmed up :)

Awesome responses! I love reading posts like this. It's easy to goggle anything nowadays. But this method is much more enjoyable.

I'm liking the Venom Steel gloves a lot. I stopped at the W-mart on the way home from the job and found these 👇

Quick math ➗ is about $2.80 a pair with box above ☝ I started to rethink my spending with these nitrile gloves 🧤 and now looking to get QUALITY & reasonable price.

To be continued ...
