Had a great day on the water with sherman 51 and his son and daughter in law.fished same areas we've been fishing out to the north.Strong bite in the morning for us then it slowed down big time. Found an active pod in the early afternoon that kept us busy and provided alot of action for the crew.3 oz 100 to 120 back and #3 diver 110 had several hookups.Fish we caught were 6 to 8lbs ,no monsters today.Boated 2 tickets today and had quite a few escape the net.Enjoy the pics

"You'd think that after years and years of doing the same old thing thing on Lake Erie, that this walleye fishing would get old...But, it never does..."
I as NW of Ashtabula and we landed 4 (6-9 lbs) between 9:30 and 11:00 then they seemed to shut off. We worked the area trying different colors & presentations with no luck. We went on a search with out much luck. Also caught a 14" perch on a deepline pulling a thunderstick. Thanks for the report & pics.
Sounded like a good trip Jeff....glad the crew had fun! I was definitely busy out there playing catch and release with all those white perch, white bass, and a few sheep. Those things were ferocious!!!!!! I would feel them munchin' before I would even clip on the I threw in the towel after I left you.
Nice job Jeff, Frustrating when you get the hook-ups and they don't end up in the net, but thats part of the game. Other days you can't knock them off if you tried..........
