Default buckeye crappie

went out for about an 1.5 hours tonight. started of fishing shallow brush and only got two good ones and some gills. we decided to go shoot a deeper dock i had in mind. we caught about 20 keepers off this big dock. dad got one nice one just over 13 inches. all fish were spawned out females and guard males that were already fading there tuxedos away.

Good report KW - The last 3 times out I have been up at Alum but was wondering how the Buckeye Crappie were doing. What was the water temp?

Mid 70s, spawn is over. Try docks in deeper water and on the main lake. That cove that I told u about that is full of bluegill... the two covered boat docks in the front of that hold them all summer (but only a few keepers)
