I plan on growing some scotch bonnet peppers this year in planters on my Back deck, but I'm having a rough time figuring out where to buy my plants? I'm new to this gardening thing and live in Cincinnati, any suggestions out there? I've called a couple garden centers around here and they said they won't be getting them in.

Scotch bonnets are hard to come buy at your local green house any more... The Thai hots have seemed to have replaced them not as hot but their still zippy(I like hot stuff) but you may wanna to check them out I grew them in a 6" pot on the patio table they seemed to grow well and produce lots of fruit

I've been growing peppers for a long time and can't say I've ever seen them in any of the nurseries. A good alternative is the habernero. Also, as suggested, check on line. That might be your best bet in assuring you'll get them.

Thanks for all the replies fellas, I'm not 100% stuck on bonnets , I'll consider anything, I'm mainly looking to make hot sauce and then pickle some, as well as spicing up dishes.
