I'm headed down to Myrtle Beach in early April. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips as to surf fishing down there. Not really sure what i should be throwing bait wise and have no idea what kind of fish will be biting at that time of year. I went down there in April last year and surf fished a little bit but didn't catch anything so I'm still looking for my first saltwater catch. Any help or tips on what i should be fishing for/what i should be fishing with bait or lure wise would be extremely appreciated. Thanks guys in advance for any help i get as I'm sure I'll get some good info from you guys.

I'd just try googling bait shops around there and call them. If you found a helpful shop I'd make sure to get my bait from there and pick up a few items you might need to rig.

Theres a Bass Pro at Myrtle Beach thats always been helpful with info when Ive went there, And a bunch of baitshops in North Myrtle too
