My first planting of corn and beans have just about all been eaten by the deer and rabits, guess I need to put up a fence. Anyone have another solution?
For the rabbits use fence, the little ones get through. About the deer I have seen by some good deer woods and heard of one strand of electric fence wire works. I'll have to do this for our new place this year. I think I'll place it about 36-40 inches high. I'll run it over head from the garage to the garden for mowing purposes.

Why is it the police never think it is as funny as you do??
chicken wire for the rabbit.....irish spring soap slices..... for the deer....on each chicken wire post.....works here real good, both mine and the neighbors green beans.....something about the smell of that soap they don't like.....and only that soap
If you have a coyote target put that out there with a rag under it with some fox urine on it. That's what we do and we dont have then mess with it all that much. Or you could run an old radio all the time out in your garden. The noise will keep then away
After spending $25 on new plants after the rabbits ate the old ones I bought a bottle of deer and rabbit repelant from Lowes. You spray it around the plant and the one I bought you can spray it right on the plant. It's been 6 days and so far no rabbits.
That’s not a garden, that’s a flower pot. Actually, I think small raised beds are the way to go for most people. I get closer to pulling the trigger every year, but it’s just a lot of dirt I would need hauled to make it work for me.
hard to disagree with that statement. I sized it so the end of my rake will touch the center. My intention was to build more than one...but haven't gotten around to it yet .
