white bass and hybrid run

It's about the right time of year for the annual white bass and hybrid run on Pymatuning creek over in Orangeville. I'll be checking it out tomorrow, but wondered if anyone's been there yet?

I was there Sunday and got a few small gills, crappie, perch, lost a carp, and got a nice pike. No whites or hybrids. I talked to a few other people fishing there and they didn't catch or see any caught this year yet either. I don't know what's up.

Anyone here ever fish the Ohio side of Pymatuning Creek, or is that still a stupid question?

The fish are in. Stopped in Orangeville after Pyma and managed to get about 15 white bass, no hybrids though. Lots of people too.

Fished it again today and only got a crappie and a perch, no white bass. There were a good amount of other people there also and didn't see them catch any either. Everyone was getting them yesterday and nothing today, very weird.

Went to the Shenango afterwards and got one white bass, a decent bluegill, and 3 nice hybrids.
