umm... i don't get the question. are you looking for rod and reel advice based on line test? usually the line is the last piece of the puzzle, after you have your rod and reel and decide what you're fishing for and what technique you will employ.

if i understand you right i'd say a medium power rod would go well with the line, you can fish for bass away from heavy cover with grubs on a jig head, senkos, small spinners, hard baits, topwater poppers. or you can hook a float on it, tie on a hook and worm and wait and see what bites
