Default I just got my first kayak!!!

I just picked up my first kayak. I can't wait to get out on the water and fish. Now I just need to find a few people around the Toledo area to go out with.

It's a field and stream eagle talon, 12" sit on top angler kayak. It's not the perception search 13 that I originally wanted, but is what I could afford at this time. I don't think I settled too much though. It's good heavier plastic. Unlike some of the others I looked at that were made of really thin plastic.

I was thinking the same thing, don't leave us hanging man!

It sounds like you have yourself I nice kayak! I wanted a sit on top, for fishing the Outer Banks, but "settled" for a sit in with a very large cockpit.

If I was still up there I'd go paddle with you, unfortunately I left Bowling Green(BGSU grad.) in May 2011.

Good Luck!

Here's a pic. Sorry if it comes out really small.

We'll be down there at Salvo at the same time.

Are you taking a spray skirt along? SIK's are known as dieyaks down there.

You can probably do it if you go out early before the wind kicks up. Early, like sunrise. Make sure you have a high volume pump to take along, and a PFD.

Or, you can rent a SOT down there as well. I'm thinking of doing that since I wont be able to lift my Cuda.
