I am definitely a weekend warrior because of work but go to erie fishing with family frequently. new to this wish i could offer advice and will when i find what works. however for no i am humbly seeking advice around vermilion. hoping to chase eyes in morning and anchor for perch in afternoon. prefer to drift but have trolling gear if necessary. any advice is greatly appreciated and will share any positive results.

Went 16 miles straight north of vermilion today (7/27) and caught 12 walleye. 3 oz 70 back and 40 jet 110 back. Pick back Colorados did the best. We didn't get clean water until the 37 north south line.

If your looking for perch, head east out of the mouth of the river.About 3 miles down you will see a set of condos along the shore. You cant miss them. Fish in 32 to 34 fow. I have had good luck there for perch all summer. GOOD LUCK!
