Default To Best I Know

Off the wall in spring and fall. ( for perch ) other then that you can still get some rock bass off the boat ramp but only last hour before dark. got use a float keep your bait from sinking in the sea weed or what ever it be called as it is just say a few feet under water. minows are the order of the day same on the wall they out do worms 2 to one. now to non open lake fishing shore would be any river or creek. sorry say but that is best help I can give you on the shore fishing at conny. a boat is your best way go once the perch stop bitting on the wall. and 52 to 62 feet waters the order of the day for preching.

West breakwall, all the way to the end if you can make it depending on lake conditions plus its a long walk. Typical smallie baits, 3" twisters, rattles etc....

Default Thanks

My son and I really appreciate the advice, I think we are going to try a few different techniques, minnows for the rock bass and crankbaits , and plastics for the small mouths. Going out Saturday morning with a fellow ogf member to do some walleye fishing, very anxious.

Yep west wall at the end. A quick glimpse and you'll know if it is doable. White water crashing over the top means time to go elsewhere. You should be able to pull some perch from there. Good luck.
