Default Sheephead

We (boat All About Her) have been fishing in close from the Gold Coast to to past the mouth of the Rocky River. Worm Harnesses and RR. All we have been catching is large sheephead after large sheephead. We started at 5:30am yesterday and stopped counting around 10am. Off the lake by 10:30am.... couldn't take it anymore. What is going on with all the sheephead and no walleye? Saw Bottoms Up trying the same area yesterday and it looked like similar result. Frustrating!

we perched out there one evening last week and decided to troll back to edge water. Our results were exactly the same big sheephead. Biggest one was 8lb 12oz good fight though lol.

Bump your speed up to 1.8-2.1. And try Gulp Alive! leeches.

The walleyes are inside of the sheephead. Whatever depth you find the sheep in, go either deeper or usually shallower a little bit. Stray off course a little and BAM the boards go down and you are counting giant sheep. The tell tale sign being the line going out back, instead of down to the bottom with a walleye or a catfish. And the thumping. You won't see many marks on shallow fish. You just gotta believe.
