Default GMR Question

I'm coming down to Cincinnati over labor day weekend for a big softball tourney and was wondering if it would be worth getting my line wet between games where blue rock rd crosses the GMR? I'm not looking for honey holes but was curious if anyone has ever had any luck in that general area. Thanks in advance.

If you are playing at eggleston I think its called just go out the back of the parking lot to the river. I see guys fishing that area all the time. Have some good riffles just above the parking lot.

I don't think it's called Eggleston anymore but it's right there near Blue Rock Rd. I've done pretty well with white bass in that area in the past, but haven't been there in a while.

I think it's called Mid-America Ballyard now.

Rumpke Park is on the other side of the river and upstream just a little bit, I don't know if you can fish from there though.

Thanks guys that's exactly where I'll be. Gonna be targeting the smallies but hopefully I will get into some other species as well.

There is another park down the road called Heritage Park that has good lookin fish area. I have only been there twice with no luck. if you go bit east you can hit the Whitewater River. or if you go about 15 min up the GMR to the Hamilton Dam lots of Big Fish there

In addition to Heritage park, there is a small park just south of the ball fields called Dravo that has river access.
