Default nothing like being on the Irish Drifter for SPD

Leaving Pittsburgh in 2hrs for 1st jig trip of year. Any last minutes tips on colors and use minnows or not?

2 years ago we tried not using minnows. Found out the walleye didnt care! Havent used them since. Save money and time! Good luck.

Keeping in mind I'm a greenhorn, 1st time doing that for me... now Mike's been going up there for 20 some yrs though. We used purple hair jigs with shiners. Orange and chartreuse pulled a few. Good luck tomorrow.

boat caught limit (72). beautiful day. The jig bite is on! 70% caught on Tye-dye or Purple, all tipped with minnows. Going back up Monday and Tuesday due to the early action. All males caught besides 1 spawned out female.
