Rt. 88 Causeway

Since Conneaut looks like it's blowing out overnight, I'm thinking of trying the Causeway. Has anyone had any luck up there? If so, on what?

Also, is the bait shop open?

Out here right now. Warming my hands up in the car. Been here since 2130, not a bite. Have the place all to myself. I called the baitshop today and they were open. Not sure of their hours though. Good luck if you go! Let us know if you have any better luck than me.

I've been hitting the causeway the last 3 days with nothing biting...also fished spillway and that's dead too...good luck

are you the guy that was fishing the eastside of the spillway creek tuesday evening?

No I stopped by yesterday around 2-3 in the afternoon at the spillway..went to state park and seen the 2 dock fishermen...didn't see them producing anything

I was out we'd nite with badzetteangler. We threw thundersticks in the rocks for a few hours with no luck. The baits shop said the water temp was 33, but I think that's bad info. It should pick up the middle of next week with the warmer nights.

Called the Corp. of Engineers Lake info line 330-638-0162 this morning and the lake temp at outflow yesterday was 35.2 degrees. Linda

Got about 20 tonight but only 6 keepers for me......a couple buddys of mine caught 6 keepers also with a few throwbacks and my uncle and cousin ended up with 14 keepers. Decent night for a few hrs of fishing. Fished 4 to 8pm. This coming week will only make it better! Also saw a couple eyes rollin but no go yet. Very soon!

Yes the minimum size limit for crappie is 9'' and you can keep 30
