Frustrated, discouraged, ready to throw in the towel... that's my season so far!
I can't count the number of hours I've spent on the lake this year (well over 100)
, trolling/casting for Muskie and all I have to show for it is one 30" this year.Admittedly, this is only my 2nd season of targeting just Muskie on West Branch... but I've tried trolling from shallow to deep water (4'-30') running 1' - 12' deep, along shorelines, over humps, following...

Ash / Conny 8-29
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's the program...
Launch from Ash around 5:30.

I fish for just about anything - but do a lot of trolling on my 18' Crestliner. Because I live in Ravenna, I normally fish at West Branch and target anything and everything - but prefer Musky. I also fish Mosquito Creek Reservoir and Berlin a few times a year.
I've been fishing for Walleye on Lake Erie recently (this year and last) and have had pretty good success on the days I've made it out.
I also fish for Steelhead in the Grand River with fly and spinning gear....

The name of my boat... it's also a play on words, since my profession is in IT Technical Training... the names are terms that refer to 'bits' in groups of 4 or 8.
