Hey snake do you think the water and what not will be in the good shape for wed.on the westvirgina side at n/c. i havent fished it scense i was a young boy when my dad would take me. he hasnt fished it in like 12 years and im wanting to make a coulple of trips down there. i could use any info you can give thanks

What's going on my friend? I only started fishing up there in the last 2 weeks. Had to take time off while waiting on surgery for my elbow. After 3 mos. off, I couldn't wait any longer. After 4 trips, I finally got a keeper this past weds. So.....I truly don't know where to find them just yet. Going out tomorrow and Sunday and maybe I can pinpoint it a little better by then. Right now, I'm trying sharp dropoffs which has paid off the best I guess. I think this next week will cool the water down a lot and that should give us anglers the advantage:the fish will move shallow during the day to get to the warmer water. Right now, the water is still 67-69. Been that warm for the last 3 weeks. Once it gets to 60-62 they seem to be easier to find, in my opinion. Sorry I didn't see this sooner, but the computer has had some issues...think I got them cleared up. Check with me in another week or so. Take care....Snake

The big lake has been only good for surfing, have you been doing any good at Berlin? Not looking for spots (I took very good notes in the spring talking with you and your buddy) just a report. I'm the guy you helped by closing my suv hatch in the spring. Thanks again for that!!!! Any help would be great.
