Glenn, we were fishing berkely leech baits and gary yamato shad shaped baits both were dark green and black on drop shots the shaky head was a 4" wrom in watermelon red flk by a Deep Creek lures here in NC. I was using braid with floro tip and partner was floro . We caught our biggest and most fish around the monument in put in bay, we had a hard east wind so we would pull up to the metal/rock docks and drift back towards the fist pier of the village in 6-10ft and do this over and over again it worked very well. The locals said the other side of the monument and sugar reef was some of the best in the lake i could only guess what we would have caught if we fished thoes areas. I hope this helps and have a safe trip. Thanks Jeth
