I've been fishing the Stillwater River for the last 30 years, mostly wading and fishing for smallmouth. I am an avid believer in catch and release and havn't kept a fish for a long time. This summer, August 1st to be exact, my friend Joe and I had one of the best, single day fishing experiences that I have ever had on the stillwater.
