Before reading that post, I would've said not to mess with fishing up there for a few more days. The outflow is still at 1400+ and the lake level is 6' over winter pool, so I assume they'll keep letting water out at this rate. With that said, I'll probably give it a try tomorrow night or Saturday. Paint Creek is 10' over winter pool and running at about 1000 CFS. I may have to hit it soon too. I caught some really nice ones out of PC last year. They were all later in the year though. 16 more days til I'm getting the boat out.... If you want a sure thing, I'd go for the card game though. Let me know what you decide.
