curious if you are fishing and having any luck? I've been able to catch fish all day long in the ocean but morning from 8-10 seemed to be best. You could see the activity pick up on really calm days. The more bait you see (mullet) the better the fishing. Don't be afraid to fish after dark. use bigger hooks though. Lastly, fish can be caught extremely close to the beach. sometimes we only caught them 15 feet from shore. You would think their backs would be showing they were so shallow.

Don't know if you remember me Rick. I fished with you Mike and Vic out at the weather buoy last year. Learned a lot that day plus got me hooked on walleye fishing. Just wanted to say thanks for showing a rookie the ropes.

Hi, I have been fishing alot out of Lorain but have been giving some thought to running out of Geneva and was hoping to pick your brain a little. Have been bass fishing erie for a few years but this year changed boats and have been after the eyes. I have had a fair bit of sucess but was wondering what the outlook is for geneva and east. Not looking for specific #'s unless your willing to but would certainly exchange numbers and call if I went and got into a mess of fish.

Hey have not talked to you for a while. I liked what I seen in you post. Lots of times in March we would launch out of Catawaba and shoot straight to Davis Bessie for 3 miles and hammer them in March. Not sure if that was the area for you but again nice post. I have been in Manitoba for 3 weeks but will finally be back sunday. Can't believe I am missing this week and I having big time Lake Erie withdraws now. I will be out of Lakeside Monday afternoon.
