To make the story short, after the surgery, which went extremely well, a piece of the tumor was tested, it tested negative for cancer The remainder of the tumor was sent to John Hopkins for a second opinion by a world renowned cancer specialist. It was negative The tumor was a meningioma tumor which is not cancerous.

My daughter had her skull sawed open in the shape of a large question mark, starting at the lower front of her right ear. she's healing very well!

The best part of her hospital stay was when K99.1 FM was at the hospital doing a radiothon fund raiser for the hospital. Nancy Wilson, and Jim Kerrigan were the DJ's. K99.1 photographer took a photo of my daughter and I, and Nancy Wilson with my daughter. My daughter is great, she's always smiling. bassman2, or should I say Bob, I'm looking forward to the upcoming season.

It's been a long winter. My 15 year old daughter had brain surgery November 19. Needless to say, my wife, son, and I spent Thanksgiving with our daughter at Dayton's Children Medical Center. My daughter had a tumor the size of an orange removed from her right, frontal lobe.

After her MRI, two oncologist told us the tumor was cancer so when the surgeon went over the MRI pictures with my wife and I, I asked him if the tumor could be cancer, he replied "yes". We were heartbroken!
