what kinds of lures are you using for this "walk trolling". .

Wow, you fished that last nite,it was brutal,I whimped out and went to the causeway."Walk trolled" the southside from entrance on west side on cincreate where it starts to bush than walked back,did this for 21/2 hours got three no bigger than 17,guys on northside had fish also,one guy I talked to had 5,said it was slow,he had been there since 7:00 and I talked to him at 11.He did say he lost a few others,was walk trolling also.Yeah this weather is deffinately slowing things down,may not get a big bite nite,I hope so though.With this bad north winds I will be fishing causeway.I'll let you know of anything happening,thanks for the info also.

I fished the dam last night from 12 am to 1 am. I got 2 eyes. One was 17 the other was just shy of 16. Caught both on Jr Thunder Stick natural perch color. Both fish were milking jacks. Wind was brutal lol. I could only last an hour because I forgot to bring gloves. The rocks have a nice coating of ice on them so be careful. Both came next to the metal steps like you said. Hope to see you out there. Hope this weather warms up a bit.

Hey Rob, it gets better everyday out there,seeing fish roll in late though around 12:00 pm,never no now,deffinately the time to be out there for chances of a bigger fish.All fish I have got have been after 12:00 1-2ft from rocks and over 19 inches.Throwing jr thundersticks because they go a little deeper and water high so rocks are tougher to tick right now,spawn nets went in today.Congrats on that nice fish,that's a hawg out there.Got a 22 inch last night at damn near metal steps,maybe I'll see you,good luck man.

This is Rob, I met you a few times at the mosquito dam last year. Got a new screen name (RobFyl) it was straighthooking. Had to change my internet service. Anyhow seen your recent post about the dam. How long do you think it will be before it really turns on. I did not do very good through the ice this year. I did catch my personal best eye at mosquito through the ice this year 25 1/4" 5.45lbs.
