Wow, that's not too shabby at all! It was a very rough weekend. I swear, everytime I head up there chaos of some sort or another has to prevail. I've never heard of a joint walleye and steelie tournament, that's pretty cool! I'll let you know next time I head up and give you a cell number or something in case you are out.

Well I had great intentions of giving you a buzz until I found out my buddy does not have a ship to shore on his boat. We ventured out Friday afternoon and got our asses kicked by the waves and only managed two good eyes. We waited out Saturday morning and finally decided to suck it up around noon and headed to the east side of Kelly's to get out of the wind. We fished till about 9 and only managed 8. We even took a quick break for some smallie fishing and only caught some shitheads. They are thick over there! You make it out?

Good to hear from ya ! I will probably be out and about somewhere. Probably off the Vermilion Sandbar somewhere. It has been really slow near shore in Huron for eyes. Smallie action has been hot over around Vermilion (Ruggles Reef and Sherrod Park areas). Give me a hollar on Ch. 68 when you get out. Good luck and take care
