Went down to the dam in hamilton and ended up catching a 19 inch saugeye on my favorite smallmouth lure.

I am a first time user, and wanted to know if anyone could tell me what types of artificial baits to use to catch saugeyes at the river any help would be greatly appreciated thanks, fish fry.
